When Jeep reintroduced their Gladiator nameplate in 2020, the new truck thrilled Jeep fans and drivers seeking a pickup that could tackle the trails like no other. The Gladiator debuted with all the muscle needed for tough towing and hauling jobs, and it built on that utility with the superior traction and off-roading capabilities that drivers expect from Jeep. Whether you’re out exploring uneven terrain or towing a trailer on the highway, the Gladiator handles with confidence, and its cab remains comfortable even on long rides. One year after its debut, Jeep now offers a new turbodiesel engine option for multiple trim levels.
To see what the Gladiator can do for you, you really need to get in the driver’s seat and try it out for yourself. Come see us here at our Paris dealership to take a closer look at Jeep’s rugged pickup truck. Our experts can show you all its features and capabilities, and you can also get behind the wheel for a test drive.
The Gladiator’s design is heavily inspired by its iconic Jeep sibling, the Wrangler. It features the familiar round headlight housings, seven-slotted grille, and boxy cab that Jeep has favored since the old Willys MB, now with a truck bed on the back for added utility. The 2021 model is available in a variety of colors:
As many as five people can ride in the Gladiator’s airy cab, and everyone will have plenty of shoulder and legroom. The interior also provides ample overhead space to ensure a comfortable ride for your taller passengers. The truck’s standard furnishings are durable and meant to withstand the demands of a modern work and adventure vehicle, while it still remains comfortable for the daily drive or a longer trip. Just like its Wrangler relative, the Gladiator can be adjusted for open-air driving with removable doors and a detachable top.
The Gladiator delivers all the muscle you need for tough tasks, and a 285-horsepower V6 comes standard for 260 lb-ft of torque. The new turbodiesel option generates 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. When the truck is fully equipped for work, it can pull up to 7,650 pounds and haul as much as 1,700 pounds. You’ll always feel in control whether you’re in town, on the interstate, or out on unpredictable terrain, and every trim is capable of off-road adventure. The Rubicon comes with traversing tools like locking front and rear differentials and all-terrain tires, and the Mojave trim rides on heavy-duty Fox shock absorbers and a high ground clearance.
Jeep offers an infotainment system with several touchscreen sizes, and the 7- and 8.4-inch options come with smartphone integration for both Apple and Android devices. You can also opt for a range of other available features and apps for the 2021 Gladiator:
The Gladiator comes with a standard rearview camera, and the truck can also be equipped with various other driver assistance and technology features:
